Chelsea are reportedly planning a move for Marcus Rashford.
The English striker was linked with a move away from “Old Trafford” in the summer transfer window, as last season was very poor for him.
However, following the arrival of Erik ten Hag, things changed and Rashford remained at his boyhood club – as he has started this season in fine form.
However, the player’s future at the “Red Devils” is still uncertain. He has a valid contract until June 30, 2023, while the agreement also has the option of extending it for another year.
Thus, “La Repubblica” has reported that Chelsea are monitoring Rashford’s situation, with the aim of potentially making a move in the January transfer window.
The priority of the 24-year-old is thought to be the extension of the contract with Manchester United, but the possibility that he will be lured by an offer from “Blue” is not excluded.
Earlier it was reported that Atletico Madrid also expressed interest in Rashford.
