Good news for Inter, as it is reported that Romelo Lukaku is very close to recovering from a muscle injury and is expected to return after the national team matches
The striker had pulled a muscle before the “della Madonnina” derby against their rivals Milan, and was diagnosed with a muscle pull in his left hip.
He has returned to Belgium for further treatments and tests, including his work with the National Team, who have also been concerned because the 2022 World Cup is so close.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Lukaku has had a check-up in Belgium and is seen to be on his way to recovery.
He is not expected to be ready for Inter’s Serie A away game against Udinese, but is expected to return to Inter after the national team matches.
The injury saw Lukaku miss six games in Serie A and the Champions League. It will be seven games after Inter play against Udinese this weekend.
