The first half started much better for Liverpool who constantly threatened the visitors’ gate.

But, after this case, Ajax returns to the game and manages to equalize the result in the 27th minute.
Steven Berghuis was in a good position to shoot, but he passes to Mohamed Kudus who manages to finish scoring a beautiful goal and equalizing the score at 1-1.

Liverpool could easily have been punished with a goal, when in the 76th minute Delay Blind received a good ball in the area but failed to score a goal.
