AC Milan wins in style against Dinamo Zagreb

AC Milan defeated Dinamo Zagreb 3-1 in San Siro. Giroud (45′ penalty), Saelemaekers (47′) and Pobga (77′) scored for Milan, while the only goal for Dinamo Zagreb was scored by Orsic (56′). With this victory, AC Milan moves to first place in Group E in the Champions League

AC Milan has scored a victory at San Siro against Dinamo Zagreb in the second match of the Champions League with a score of 3-1.

The first half passed with Milan dominating possession, but the defense of the Croatian team was steely and resisted until the 45th minute.

In the 43rd minute, referee Jesus Gil Manzano awarded a penalty to Milan after Leao was brought down in the area by Josip Sutalo.

Olivier Giroud converted the penalty into a goal two minutes later.

AC Milan would score the second goal at the start of the second half.

Leao made a beautiful cross into the area where Alexis Saelemaekers was released by the Croatian defenders to score a goal in the 47th minute.

Dinamo Zagreb started to take more risks after conceding the second goal and managed to equalize the result in the 56th minute.

Mislav Orsic scored a beautiful goal after being assisted by Bruno Petkovic.

Milan would score another beautiful goal in the 77th minute.

This time Tommaso Pobega scored on goal. He collected a good ball from Theo Hernandez to crack a powerful shot on goal that resulted in a goal for the Reds.

Until the end of the game, Dinamo could not get ahead and AC Milan controlled this game well to take the first place in the group, as they now have four points from two games.

AC Milan will face Chelsea in the next two matches, while Dinamo Zagreb has work to do with RB Salzburg.
