Brazilian legend, Leite Kaka, has named Neymar as his favorite player, while insisting that “the pressure must be off” of him at the “Qatar 2022” World Cup.
Kaka had no hesitation in choosing Neymar when asked to pick his favorite player during an interview with Spanish newspaper Marca.
“I don’t know if we have a great personal relationship, but I like how Neymar plays. “Of course I like to see others like [Kylian] Mbappe, [Lionel] Messi, Cristiano [Ronaldo] or Vinicius himself, but I will stay with ‘Ney’,” he said.
The Paris Saint-Germain star shouldered the expectations of an entire nation at the 2018 World Cup, but Kaka said “he won’t have to face that burden in Qatar”.
“Neymar will be the leader of Brazil in Qatar 2022, but it is very important that he has players like Vinicius on his side. In the 2018 World Cup, ‘Ney’ was the absolute protagonist, but now we have ‘Vin’, Raphinha, Richarlison, Antony. This removes some pressure from Neymar, something that is very favorable for our interests”, declared the former representative of Brazil.
