Manchester City striker Erling Haaland shared his opinion on the importance of money in a career as a professional footballer.
“As a child, I dreamed of playing football and living off the money I earned for the rest of my life,” City Xtra quoted the Norwegian striker as saying in Haaland’s documentary The Big Decision. According to Erling, it is important for a footballer to have a good salary, but he does not consider this as the main goal of his career.
We remember that Haaland tried the Manchester City jersey this summer. The striker had a great start to his career with the Citizens, scoring 14 goals in just 10 games for the new team.
