The Brazilian legend, Luis Nazario de Lima Ronaldo has congratulated Karim Benzema for the Ballon d’Or he won last night.
The French forward won this prestigious individual award for the first time in his career after a fantastic season.
He said that one of his inspirations was Ronaldo, whom he followed since childhood.
The former Brazilian striker returned the favor to the current Real Madrid striker in a post on social media.
“A number 9 once again wins the Ballon d’Or. You deserved it Karim Benzema. An honor for me to be one of your inspirations. Congratulations for this achievement”, wrote Ronaldo, who also congratulated soccer player Alexia Putellas with the Ballon d’Or.
