Ten Hag speaks for the first time about Ronaldo’s punishment, clarifies the situation

The coach of Manchester United, Erik ten Hag, has spoken for the first time after the suspension of Cristiano Ronaldo from the match with Chelsea.

The Dutch coach admitted that Ronaldo refused to play against Tottenham.

“Yes, Cristiano Ronaldo refused to play against Tottenham,” Ten Hag declared.

Further, he said that there should be consequences for these behaviors.

“There must be consequences. It is important for the behavior and mentality of the group”, he said in the press conference before the match against Chelsea.
