Zinedine Zidane is planning a return to football in the near future.
The French coach left Real Madrid in May 2021, ending his second experience with “Los Blancos”, as he considered there was a disconnect between him and the club’s board.
However, the 50-year-old is now ready to return to coaching, as he said at the Grevin museum in Paris on Monday morning.
“Do I miss the coach seat? No, I’m not far, we have to wait, wait a little longer. I am not far from my job as a coach”, declared the French legend for “RMC Sport”.
Zidane guided Real to a treble in a row in the Champions League between 2015 and 2018.
He also won La Liga championship titles with the Spanish club.
This year it was speculated that “Zizou” would take over Paris Saint-Germain, but this did not happen and the Parisians hired coach Christophe Galtier.
It is said that Zidane can take over the French national team, succeeding Didier Deschamps.
He was also linked with an eventual commitment to Manchester United, before the “Red Devils” took the Dutch Erik ten Hag.
It remains to be seen what will be the next destination for Zinedine Zidane.
