The former Real Madrid player admits that he is not yet in the best physical condition, while he is working in this direction.
“I haven’t played 90 minutes yet and I’m working to reach this goal. I think we are on the right track. It’s clear that I always want to play, but I understand that I have to prepare physically, which I haven’t done in recent seasons. We are intelligent and we are preparing to reach the last part of the season in full preparation”, said Bale to the American media.
The former Tottenham footballer ended his experience in European football this summer to continue his career in the MLS league, namely in Los Angeles, where he is playing alongside the veteran Italian defender, Giorgio Chiellini.
