Christophe Galtier believes Lionel Messi can be the best in the world again.
On Saturday night, the Argentine scored a goal in Paris Saint-Germain’s 2:1 victory against Nice in the ninth Ligue week.
After the match, Galtier spoke about the seven-time “Golden Ball” winner.
“Every morning I am extremely happy when I see Messi in training. He is in a good psychological state now, he is very happy,” said the PSG coach.
“He is a player who runs the game by scoring consistently. He maintains his thirst for goals. Can it be declared the best in the world again? Yes, if he maintains this incredible form. He is perfectly prepared,” added the Frenchman.
“Messi is happy. And when he’s happy, he plays well,” declared Galtier.
This season, the 35-year-old striker has scored 7 goals and provided 8 assists in 12 games for the Parisians in all competitions.
