
Speaking after his very first game as a Bundesliga coach, Bayern München trainer Vincent Kompany credited both his team’s mentality and the club’s traveling supporters for a hard-fought three points against VfL Wolfsburg. Sitting next to VfL trainer Ralph Hasenhüttl at the post-match presser, Kompany had very different words in describing the state of his club’s support. Serge Gnabry and Joshua Kimmich also offered up their thoughts on the tit-for-tat affair that they were somehow able to escape from.
