Romelu Lukaku is much happier following his return to Inter and has no plans to return to Chelsea when his loan deal expires next year.
The 29-year-old Belgian striker did not have a positive season last year with the Blues following his €113 million move to London. Lukaku scored just eight goals in 26 Premier League appearances, failing to show his best amid endless waves of criticism.
After a difficult campaign, he returned to Inter in the summer on an €8m one-year loan deal, which does not contain an option to buy.
As detailed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lukaku has rediscovered his happiness in the city of Milan and is very happy to be back at Inter.
The Nerazzurri will renew their loan deal with Chelsea next summer, which must be confirmed regardless of results this season.
