Chelsea are reportedly considering a move for Cristiano Ronaldo in the January transfer window.
The Portuguese striker tried to leave Manchester United in the summer but failed to do so.
He remained at “Old Trafford”, but is facing a difficult season.
Ronaldo was recently excluded from the first team, after refusing to be included as a substitute in the match against Tottenham.
The Red Devils are said to be prepared to let the 37-year-old leave, but are also open to a loan deal for the remainder of the season.
And, according to “Sunday World”, Chelsea is expected to renew their interest in the former striker of Real Madrid and Juventus in January.
The coach of “Blues”, Graham Potter, is said that he would not prevent such a transfer, as the former coach, Thomas Tuchel, had done.
As such, Chelsea could try to sign Ronaldo on a short-term deal in January, with the option to extend it next summer if it proves to be a success.
