It’s been over a year since Lionel Messi made the sensational move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the Argentine has seen enough during this time in the French capital to say that his team-mate, Kylian Mbappe, will join the elusive group of the world’s best players.
Speaking to “TUDN Mexico”, Messi praised the Frenchman as a “beast” and a “different” player. He also praised his pace and strength to beat defenders in one-on-one situations.
“Kylian is a different player, a beast who is very strong one-on-one, who goes into space, who is very fast, who scores a lot of goals. He is a complete player and has proven it for years. And, in the years to come, he will surely be among the best,” said the 35-year-old.
Under new coach Christophe Galtier, PSG have made an excellent start to the 2022/23 Ligue 1 season.
The reigning champions have collected 22 points after eight rounds – with a record of seven wins and one draw.
In terms of contribution, Messi has so far scored five goals and eight assists, while Mbappe currently leads the scorers list with ten goals.
