Official: Gavi renews with Barcelona

Gavi will play for Barca at least until June 30, 2026.

After many months of negotiations, and after waiting for him to grow up and solve the financial problems of “Fair Play in the squad”, the Catalans announced this Wednesday that the player will sign the extension of his contract with the club this Thursday at 18 :00 at “Spotify Camp Nou”.

Pjanic’s departure to the United Arab Emirates paved the way for “fair play” for Barca to carry out the agreed renewal of Gavi a year ago, when the player had not yet turned 18.

With his new contract, in addition to having a higher salary, Gavi will join the club of players with a €1 billion release clause.
