Luis Enrique will pick his preliminary World Cup squad on Friday and reports suggest Sergio Ramos will be in it.
The 55-man roster will be finalized today and then whittled down to 26 on November 11, shortly before the start of the championship.
According to Diario AS, Spain will not make the list public. Given the number of injuries that are piling up, they might want to fix that.
Players may be called up to the final squad up to 24 hours before the first match of the tournament in case of injury.
Ramos has a slim chance of making that list. He is likely to be a little further down the list, as he has not been involved in the team since March 2021.
Other notable names expected to be on the roster are youngsters Nico Williams and Alejandro Balde.
