Luis Suarez is only focused on participating with Uruguay in the “Qatar 2022” World Championship, which is expected to be his last in his career.
The Uruguayan was out of contract this summer after two seasons with Atletico Madrid and decided to return to his first club, Nacional.
Suarez only signed a short-term contract that expires at the end of the Uruguayan league season, which ends in November.
According to “RAC1”, the 35-year-old will join the club from the United States of America, LA Galaxy, after this year’s World Cup ends.
He will join former Barcelona teammate Riqui Puig, who joined the team from MLS this season.
Suarez was rumored to be keen to stay in European football before returning to Nacional, but he has since confirmed that his career in Europe is now over.
