Udinese are currently 3rd in the Serie A table and goalkeeper Marco Silvestri has jokingly asked Cristiano Ronaldo to join the club.
The Friulian side have had a good start to their season, picking up 16 points from their opening seven games from five wins and a draw. The team are hoping to maintain this form in a bid for European football and they have taken the opportunity to suggest a move to Udine for Ronaldo.
The Portuguese star was seemingly desperate for Champions League football in the summer but ultimately stuck with Manchester United.
On Instagram, Silvestri responded to a post discussing Ronaldo’s ambitions, tagging the Manchester United star and urging him to join Udinese.
The club followed it, jokingly supporting the suggestion.
Ronaldo hasn’t had the best start to his 2022-23 campaign, scoring just once in eight appearances for the Red Devils.
