Valverde is named player of the month in La Liga

Fede Valverde has been voted as the best player of the month of September in La Liga Santander.

The midfielder has started the season in fantastic form for Real Madrid.

The capital club have won all six of their La Liga Santander 2022/23 matches and top the table, with Fede Valverde one of their standout performers, particularly in September.

Real Madrid have won all three of their La Liga Santander games this month and Valverde has scored in two of them.

The Uruguayan scored his side’s first goal in the comeback against RCD Mallorca in the 5th leg, and then in the derby against Atletico Madrid, scoring the second goal in a 2-1 win.
