Wanner denies he’s made a decision to represent Germany over Austria

In an interview conducted with Germany’s Süddeutsche Zeitung, FC Bayern München phenom Paul Wanner has denied that he’s made a decision about which nation to represent internationally. Wanner declined a call up to the Germany U21s over the recent international break. In the interview, the 18-year-old explained that he simply wished to “give my body some extra rest”.
