It is now clear why Kylian Mbappe decided to stay at Paris Saint-Germain, finally giving up on Real Madrid.
The French attacker was close to moving to “Santiago Bernabeu”, but changed his mind and changed the decision in the last moments.
Now, the French media report that the world champion with France had strong reasons to stay in the “Park of the Princes”.
Not because of the bigger club or the chance to win more important trophies.
But, because of the money and the stratospheric offer of the Arab sheikhs.
The French medium “Le Parisien” has revealed in detail the benefits of the three-year contract of the former Monaco footballer with the Parisians.
The 23-year-old will have a basic salary of 72 million euros per year.
Then, the bonus for signing the contract was set at the amount of 180 million euros, which will be paid in three installments.
An increasing loyalty bonus will be paid after each summer transfer window closes, starting at €70m, rising after one year to €80m and then €90m if Mbappe considers it the possibility to stay for another season in Paris.
This, all told, amounts to a staggering total of 630 million euros.
Everyone already knows the reason for Mbappe’s stay in France…
