Ten Hag – Ronaldo, the face-to-face meeting will take place today

Cristiano Ronaldo has become a problem and issue recently at Manchester United.

The Portuguese star refused to come on as a substitute against Tottenham and left the bench to head to the dressing room before the game was over.

And, this gesture was considered disrespectful by the “Red Devils”, who suspended him for the match with Chelsea and moved him to train with the youth team.

Now, the club from “Old Trafford” has decided that coach Erik ten Hag will meet personally with Cristiano Ronaldo to talk about what happened last week, writes the British medium “The Express”.

So, the face-to-face meeting will take place today during the day, from which a conclusion will be drawn whether “CR7” will return to the team for the remaining matches before the start of the World Cup.

Sources within the club say that Man Utd are considering releasing the 37-year-old from his contract and today coach Ten Hag will find out if the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has his mind set on leaving in January.

Ronaldo is not happy in the “Theater of Dreams” and his second experience with United could end very soon.

There is talk that he could join Chelsea in the second half of the season, while recently the names of two Italian teams, Roma and Napoli, have been mentioned, alongside his former club where he grew up and developed, Sporting Lisbon.

Ronaldo wants a team with which he can participate in the Champions League.
