The coach of Manchester United, Erik ten Hag, is not against the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to “The Telegraph”, the Dutchman, who previously wanted to keep the attacker in the team, has changed his mind and will not put any obstacles if a good offer comes from another club.
Ronaldo himself is hoping to get more playing time this season and then perform better at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, which is currently not happening as he has lost his starting spot following the arrival of Erik ten Hag.
And, this situation is believed to be increasing the chances that the 37-year-old will be transferred elsewhere in the January transfer window.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s current contract expires on June 30, 2023.
Ronaldo was linked with a move away from “Old Trafford” even in the summer transfer window of this year, but in the end he failed to make a move.
